Since its official launch in March 2021, the Council on Geostrategy has established itself as a leading think tank dedicated to generating a new generation of geostrategic thinking for a more competitive age.

Our non-profit organisation focuses on shaping British strategic ambition in an international environment increasingly defined by geopolitical competition and the environmental crisis so that the United Kingdom is best able to succeed and prosper in the twenty-first century.


We seek to appoint a creative, innovative and highly motivated individual to coordinate and implement our creative and communications activities across our numerous platforms. The candidate will have experience in creativity, communications, social media and website management. The successful applicant will have a graduate or postgraduate degree and a keen interest in strengthening the national power and profile of the United Kingdom, as well as foreign affairs, and international security more generally.

Communications and Creativity Coordinator will be an integral part of our organisation’s team. The successful applicant will actively involve themselves in creating visual and audio products, developing and managing social media campaigns for our organisation and projects, running our social media accounts, and maintaining our website.

This role is an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to immerse themselves in the world of Westminster and promote the strengthening of Britain domestically and internationally.


  • Working with the leadership team to enhance the publicity of the Council on Geostrategy nationally and internationally;
  • Developing and managing social media campaigns for programmes, publications, events and other products;
  • Creating and publishing audio-visual content, including graphics, podcasts and videos;
  • Creating newsletters and other communications content;
  • Monitoring and recording media coverage for all personnel;
  • Managing the social media profiles and the website; 
  • Other relevant duties related to the role.


  • Graduate (Classification of 2.1 or equivalent or above) and/or postgraduate degree;
  • A creative and innovative approach;
  • Advanced skills in Google Workstation, Canva, audio/video production and other productivity and desktop publishing applications;
  • Excellent social media and website management skills;
  • Excellent organisational, time-management and interpersonal skills;
  • Perfect command of English, and attention to detail, particularly in relation to design;
  • Team worker with a proactive inclination and positive attitude;
  • An interest in strengthening the national power and profile of the United Kingdom, as well as foreign affairs, defence policy, international security more generally.

Salary: £26,000 per annum (gross)
