Prof. James Henry Bergeron is Political Adviser to the Commander at NATO Allied Maritime Command. He has previously served as a foreign policy adviser to ten senior American and NATO commanders in maritime and joint expeditionary operations, including as Political Adviser to the Commander for Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO. He is regularly consulted on NATO maritime strategy and NATO-EU relations, and contributed to drafting the Allied Maritime Strategy.
