The Council on Geostrategy celebrates its fifth anniversary with a reception in the Locarno Suite at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. We welcome over 150 guests with opening remarks from James Rogers and Viktorija Starych-Samuoliene, co-founders of the Council on Geostrategy, and Neil Wigan, Director General Strategy and Delivery, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
Establishment of the AUKUS APPG Secretariat
Establishment of the AUKUS APPG Secretariat

The Council on Geostrategy becomes the Secretariat for the AUKUS All-Party Parliamentary Group, which provides a forum for parliamentarians interested in the AUKUS agreement between Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

We launch the inaugural UK-US Strategic Forum at Carlton House Terrace in London. A partnership between the Council on Geostrategy and Lockheed Martin UK, the Forum aims to enhance knowledge and understanding between British and American strategists and stakeholders.

We publish our geopolitical atlas entitled ‘Britain’s world: The strategy of security in twelve geopolitical maps’, which provides 12 visualisations to explain the National Security Strategy and the Strategic Defence Review. The atlas is edited by James Rogers, Co-President (Research), Council on Geostrategy.

The Council on Geostrategy publishes a Point Paper to explain how Britain, Poland, and Ukraine can work together to expedite a Ukrainian victory over Russia using an enhanced deep strike campaign. The paper is commissioned by the Secretary of State’s Office of Net Assessment and Challenge (SONAC) in the Ministry of Defence.

The Council on Geostrategy launches a podcast entitled ‘Defence Talks: Securing UK advantage’ in cooperation with ADS and BAE Systems. Hosted monthly by Viktorija Starych-Samuoliene, Co-President (Strategy), Council on Geostrategy, and Paul Mason, the podcast discusses important issues relating to British defence policy.
