The Council on Geostrategy is pleased to invite you to an exclusive roundtable discussion with Kęstutis Budrys, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.

This event will take place on Wednesday, 12th March 2025, at The In and Out, Naval and Military Club.

Titled ‘Getting our act together in Europe: A path to a stronger security and defence,’ this session will explore strategies for enhancing European security and defence cooperation in an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape.

Keynote speaker

Kęstutis Budrys

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania

Kęstutis Budrys has served as Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs since December 2024. With over 20 years of experience in national security, he has held key roles in intelligence, defence, and foreign policy. Previously, he was Chief National Security Adviser to the President of Lithuania, as well as Head of the National Security Group, Secretary of the State Defence Council, and Chairman of the Intelligence Coordination Group. From 2017 to 2023, he was Deputy Director of the State Security Department, leading efforts in intelligence analysis, technological intelligence, and threat prevention. Mr Budrys holds a BA in Political Science and an MA in International Relations from Vilnius University and has completed international training programs in the United States and Canada.
