Senator the Hon Simon Birmingham is Australian Leader of the Opposition in the  Senate and the Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs. He has been a Senator since 2007. He previously served in government as the Leader of the Government in the Senate and Minister for Finance (2020-2022); Minister For Trade, Tourism and Investment (2018-2020); and Minister for Education and Training (2015-2018).
