On behalf of the Australian High Commission and the Council on Geostrategy, we are delighted to invite you to an exclusive roundtable discussion entitled: ‘The Australian perspective on Indo-Pacific security’. This session will be led by Greg Moriarty AO, Secretary of the Department of Defence of Australia.
This invitation-only event will take place at Australia House and will be held off the record. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with Greg Moriarty AO during the discussion.

Greg Moriarty AO
Secretary of the Department of Defence of AustraliaGreg Moriarty AO is Secretary of the Department of Defence of Australia, having held the position since September 2017. Prior to this, he held roles in the Australian Prime Minister’s office as International and National Security Adviser, followed by Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister. He has also served in Australia’s Defence Intelligence Organisation, and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as well as US Central Command Headquarters during Operations DESERT SHIELD and DESERT STORM.

Co-founder (Strategy)Viktorija Starych-Samuolienė is Co-founder at the Council on Geostrategy where she is responsible for the organisation’s strategy and growth. She is also a Fellow of the Durham Institute of Research, Development and Invention (DIRDI). Her areas of research expertise and interests include Euro-Atlantic geopolitics, defence and maritime affairs.
