Expert briefing on Pillar I capabilities

This session brought together parliamentarians for an expert briefing on
AUKUS’s Pillar I capabilities. The AUKUS Pillar I trilateral agreement between Australia, the UK, and the US sets out to equip the Royal Australian Navy with conventionally armed, nuclear-powered attack submarines (SSNs) to enhance Indo-Pacific security.
