Michael Mo is a doctoral researcher in the School of Politics and International Studies at the University of Leeds, focusing on politics, activism, civil society networks and social movements in Hong Kong and across East and Southeast Asia. Previously, Michael was an elected local councillor in Hong Kong, has served as a campaigner at Amnesty International in Hong Kong, and was a full-time research head at a Hong Kong-based policy research institute.
