Nick Sundin is a PhD candidate at Newcastle University, where his doctoral research focuses on how American and Chinese geostrategic elites frame the Belt and Road Initiative in terms of strategic narratives. He has previously completed a BA and MA at Newcastle University, completing field research with peacebuilding NGOs in Cyprus and additionally studying at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
