The Council on Geostrategy is delighted to invite you to our next public panel event, titled: Countering Chinese lawfare in the Indo-Pacific. The event will take place on Tuesday, 17th June, from 18:00 to 19:00, at the Palace of Westminster.

This event celebrates the launch of a Policy Paper written by Deniz Güzel, our Associate Fellow, which underscores the urgency for the UK and its allies to formulate a robust response to hostile lawfare by the People’s Republic of China (PRC), in order to prevent it from making geopolitical and military advancements in the Indo-Pacific region, in particular the First Island Chain. In doing so, the paper recommends the development of a comprehensive lawfare strategy as part of the UK’s broader strategy for the Indo-Pacific.
