On behalf of the Royal Navy, the Council on Geostrategy is delighted to organise the International Sea Power Conference 2025, hosted in the contemporary setting of BT Headquarters Aldgate.

The UK and its allies face a dangerous world. Russian aggression menaces the Euro-Atlantic and Arctic. Strategic competition is intensifying and unpredictable. Extremist ideologies are on the rise and rapid technological advancements are reshaping warfare.

In response, the First Sea Lord has set out his mission over the next four years to move the Royal Navy to warfighting readiness, strengthening deterrence and aiming to prevent conflict, ready to fight and able to win under, on, above and from the sea.

The inaugural International Sea Power Conference will set out the enabling strategy to achieve this transformation, discuss leading our allies into a different way of warfare, how we will fight at scale and the necessity for change so that we can win that lead, fight, and win.

On 8th December 2025, the flagship Royal Navy’s conference will bring together key stakeholders from the UK and across the world. The event will see parliamentarians, military, policymakers, members of the press and industry figures convene in central
London.

We look forward to welcoming distinguished guests to the conference to help shape the future direction of sea power.

The surroundings of BT Headquarters provide a modern and forward-looking space, dedicated to a discussion covering the most pressing maritime issues of today and tomorrow.
