Catarina M. Liberato is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Kent (UK). She integrates the Global Europe Centre (GEC) and the Conflict Analysis Research Centre (CARC). Before joining the University of Kent, Catarina spent two years working in diplomatic services and the business environment. Catarina started her research journey by looking into the Portuguese foreign policy during the Great War, and the implications of Brexit on the EU’s security and defence. Currently, her research focuses on British foreign policy changes and ideas in the Brexit context.
