Julie Heckscher

Ms Heckscher is the Australian Deputy High Commissioner in London and a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Prior to taking up the role of Deputy High Commissioner, Ms Heckscher headed the Department’s Southeast Asia Division, and was responsible for Australia’s bilateral relationships with the ten ASEAN countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) and Timor-Leste.
