The Council on Geostrategy launches a new survey for Caudwell Strong Britain

On Monday 15th January, the Council on Geostrategy launched a new survey to understand the strength and weaknesses of Britain’s science and technology ecosystem, the building blocks necessary for the country to become a ‘net zero superpower’.

This survey is being undertaken to form the basis of a major new report for a project entitled ‘Caudwell Strong Britain’, sponsored and advised by philanthropist, business leader and Phones 4U founder John Caudwell. This project, and the report, will explore how the United Kingdom (UK) can build a more competitive, resilient, and green science and technology base, and unlock its potential for enhanced prosperity and security and help protect the environment for future generations.

The survey focuses on green technology, artificial intelligence, quantum technology, biotechnology, and space, and will provide a broader insight into the current status of the UK’s science and technology ecosystem. It explores areas such as infrastructure, skills, education, and funding, to investigate how they help or hinder the UK’s capacity for science and technology.
