The Council on Geostrategy is thrilled to announce that Dr Sari Arho Havrén and Dr Jeffrey Ordaniel are joining us as International Fellows!
Dr Sari Arho Havrén is a Senior Geopolitical Adviser for Business Finland, an Associate Fellow at RUSI and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Helsinki. She is also a certified futurist from the Institute for the Future, and has written numerous works on Chinese foreign relations, great power competition and the future of geopolitics. Previously, she was Europe-China Policy Fellow at MERICS, followed by Adjunct Professor at the George C. Marshall European Centre for Security Studies.
Dr Jeffrey Ordaniel is President and CEO of We Protect our Seas (WPS), a Manila-based maritime security think tank. He is also Associate Professor of International Security Studies at Tokyo International University, and lead convener for the Manila Dialogue on the South China Sea and the Annual Dialogue on ASEAN Maritime Security. From 2016 to 2019, he held the Admiral Joe Vasey Fellowship at the Pacific Forum in Honolulu, before serving as Director of the Forum’s Maritime Security Programme from 2020 to 2025.
